Give the Gift of Books

"There are many little ways to enlarge your child's world. Love of books is the best of all." - Jacqueline Kennedy

Consider giving the gift of books this holiday season to the children in your life. Here are some of my favorites!

For Younger Children

We Are in a Book! by Mo Willems

For Older Children

The Candy Shop War by Brandon Mull

Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life by Wendy Mass
Jeremy Fink will finally learn the meaning of life, if he can just figure out how to open it.

Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt
The Tuck family knows the secret to living forever, but what happens when others find out?
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall

Of course, these are also available at the library.
